Sometimes you don´t have to drive very far to get to see something new.  The Botanical Garden Molino del Inca in Torremolinos is only 5 minutes drive away from Málaga Airport. Just head off the motorway that the Torremolinos exit 226 (Palacio de Congresos) and you will, a few hundreds meters away, find the sign off to the Botanical Garden.

Botanical garden “Molino del Inca”  in Torremolinos has a surface of 40.000 m2 and these charming gardens had as visitors the king Alfonso XIII and the queen Victoria Eugenia.

You will find more than five hundred different species of trees, a 50 metres natural labyrinth and a real flour mill with an exposure of all the utensils used in the last century.

Also, three ponds and a lake, surrounded by stunning pink marble Italian statues.  There is also space with exotic birds, and four viewpoints.  As a novelty this year, you can also enjoy a Japanese Zen garden. A small paradise in the Costa del Sol you cannot miss. Find it in C/ de los Pinares in Torremolinos from 10.30-14 and 16-18 hours. The garden is closed on Mondays.
