The rental rate includes CDW (collision damage waiver), Third Party liability and theft insurance. There applies an excess.

You have the option to leave a deposit, refundable on the safe return of the hire car or to purchase an excess waiver.

As an alternative to the excess we can offer a super excess waiver and become fully insured.

The super excess waiver covers scratch, dents and damages on undercarriage / engine sump, clutch, windows, tyres, wheel trims and also includes a Personal Accident Insurance (PAI). The PAI gives you free medical attention in case of an accident. The super excess waiver also includes a cancellation insurance. Should you need to return the car early we will issue you with a credit voucher for the remaining rental, provided that there are at least 3 days rental remaining.

Your personal property left, stored or transported in the vehicle is not covered by the insurance. .

The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by unauthorized use, including loss of car keys and the V16 emergency light.

Helle Hollis Young Driver’s Insurance makes it possible for young persons to hire a car.

Drivers aged 19 can rent vehicles from group B with Young Driver’s Insurance and an insurance excess.

Drivers aged 19–20 may rent cars from groups C and D, but only as an additional driver to a main driver aged 23 or older. Young Driver’s Insurance and insurance excess are required.

At 21, drivers can rent groups B, C, and D without Young Driver’s Insurance. To rent group Q, Young Driver’s Insurance and the super excess waiver are required (no insurance excess applies).

Drivers aged 21–22 can rent groups E, S, J, and R, but only as additional driver to a main driver aged 23 or over with Young Driver’s Insurance and insurance excess.

We don’t have an upper age limit at Helle Hollis however drivers of 85 years of age or over must purchase our Senior Driver’s Insurance
