Getting to Cabopino
Posted on 21 December 2014It is easy to get to Cabopino. If you are choosing flights to Cabopino then it is best to fly into Malaga international Airport which is about 35 minutes drive from Cabopino.
There are 4 alternative airports that you could fly into, Gibraltar, Granada, Jerez and Seville.
We recommend that you hire a car from Helle Hollis to enchance your holiday even further with your own mobility.
The transfer times from Granada, Jerez and Seville are considerably longer than the 30 minute journey up the coast from Malaga Airport. Helle Hollis have its Head Office at Malaga Airport where you can pick up your rental car anytime during the week. It is easy to get to Cabopino. Just take the coast road (old N-340) and about 20 km past Fuengirola and Calahonada you will arrive to sign posts for Cabopino.
If you decide to follow the quieter toll road (A-7) stay on it until you come to the first exit for Calahonda. Take this exit and follow the road down to the N340 Coast Road. The toll for this part of the journey should be 2,85 euros during low season and during summer season 4,65 euros. Once you find the N340 follow the signs to Marbella and Cabopino is about 7kms along the N340 from Calahonda.
There is no train service from Malaga Airport to Cabopino as the train ends at Fuengirola. From Fuengirola you could catch a bus or take a taxi.
Taxis from Malaga Airport to Cabopino cost around 50 euros and you may find that the cost of hiring a car is less than the return taxi fares
