Driving within the limits in Spain! And avoid traffic fines!

Our preparation team check the cars before each rental to ensure they are meet all safety standards with new, clean, revised models, but driving the car is your responsibility .

We urge you to park the car in the authorized places and NOT to drive faster than permitted by the traffic regulations.  Spain now have many CCTV cameras and “unmarked” police cars which will be taking photos of you!  Although you are driving in a foreign country the fines must be paid by yourself and will be forwarded to your home country.

Unfortunately we now receive quite a few fines each week, with the extra administrative work this makes.

We are obliged by law to advise the traffic police department WHO the driver of the rental car was so they can issue the fine.

This has additional costs for us – so from the 15th of October we will charge an admin fee of 47 Euro (which does not include the payment of the fine).

Help us completely avoid having this extra administrative work by avoiding traffic fines and staying within the limits – have a safe journey.
