Driving tip for Granada city centre

We have noticed that we receive especially many traffic fines from Granada city, so here are some tips to avoid to get a fine.

In Granada city centre there are special lanes for buses and taxies. In the lane it is written “taxi bus solo” and you will often see them empty of traffic.  Please do not enter these lanes as there are cameras taking photos and you may get the unpleasant surprise on your return that you have been given a fine. Granada city issues on average 190 fines each day for entering these special bus and taxi lanes so you are not the only one who can easily make this mistake.

Another “must” to be aware of when driving into Granada city centre is not to drive with the car into certain streets such as Calle Recogidas.  These are streets which are restricted for only buses, taxies and residents in that zone.  Therefore if you see any of the signs below it means you will be caught on camera and get a fine automatically!

We hope this will help you to avoid getting a fine.
