Parsons (24/08/2018) 4.5 Hired with Helle Hollis after reading many recommendations on Tripadvisor and other travel forums and following bad experiences with other firms. With a 9 month old baby and a 7 year old we wanted a smooth process for pickup and drop off and got exactly that with the express service and full insurance options. We originally wanted to hire from a firm at the airport terminal itself as we assumed it would be more convenient but after reading lots of reviews online decided to sacrifice the apparent convenience of that and go with Helle Hollis due to the strong recommendations and we are very glad we did. The courtesy bus was swift and there was very little waiting around. The express pick up of the vehicle was just that, I had the car keys within 3 mins of arriving at the rental premises. Drop off was equally smooth, the whole transaction taking 5 mins. The car itself was clean and in very good condition. Thanks for a tip rental experience.

We were charged the amount given when doing the reservation (I took insurance as well) plus the fuel cost which was reimbursed when we came back with full tank. The car was in a very good condition, and perfectly clean. After living in Spanish countryside, we returned it quite dusty and this wasn't a problem. The staff was quite nice, and the courtesy bus operated as expected. Overall Helle Hollis made a very good impression, especially compared to reviews of the other rental companies operating in the airport. The only difficulty we had on our journey was the GPS navigator (Satnav): the car had it built-in, however it did not seem to know Spanish country roads very well, and at one point brought to us a complete dead end. The worst thing however was that as we rented a house in the countryside we were given geographical coordinates (the house presumably has no address), and the Satnav failed to lead us to the right destination simply because it didn't recognize the roads around our house as proper roads; this has happened on our arrival at about 11PM, which has been bit a bit of an adventure. The locals use Google maps, but we ran out of Mobile data and it wasn't an option. Other than that we had a very good experience with Helle Hollis and we'll use them next time we are in Malaga.
Gager (24/08/2018) 5 It is always a pleasure renting from you, staff are friendly and helpful, courtesy bus is frequent, drivers are always helpful, I have never had a problem with one of your vehicles, I never look anywhere else for a hire car.
