I am really very pleased to have made (what turned out to be) the right choice in choosing Helle Hollis when there were so many companies offering car hire. Because it was my first time booking a car in this part of Spain, I took my time in deciding. After reading many reviews, I elected not to go for one of the bigger operations, nor for the many cheaper companies that seemed to be far too cheap. I decided to try Helle Hollis based on several factors including the number of years in operation, customer reviews and the YouTube videos and photos that I found. After picking a car type, I also chose the full insurance package for peace of mind. The cost worked out to 25 Euros per day which I think is very reasonable for the car: a recent Citroen C3 1.6 diesel. It was a comfortable, capable and well spec'd car that served our needs nicely because we needed to drive from the airport into the mountains, so we needed a bit of low-end power. Also, the built-in satnav was a blessing. We used the car daily to go to many mountain & coastal towns and villages, as well as taking a motorway trip to Granada. We covered just over 1000 km on our trip and refuelling (full to full) cost us just 42 Euros – the only issue I had was the indicator on the car not showing full when the tank was all but overflowing. I showed my fuel receipt and it was accepted without further question. The airport pick up and return process was very straightforward and took only a few minutes end to end, with the paperwork aspect being done without fuss or delay. When we come back to the area we will be giving Helle Hollis our return business.

I am very satisfied with the rental process, the efficiency and the friendliness on the office in Fuengirola. It was important for me to use a local car rental company since we were staying i Fuengirola.

This is our first time using Helle Hollis. On arrival we were unable to get on the first 2 courtesy buses at the pick up point, but I presume this was because it was a busy Saturday morning. The booking office was very busy however the staff were efficient, friendly and we were dealt with fairly quickly, they even provided us with bottles of water which was appreciated as it was a hot day. The fuel gauge was not at full and when I enquired about it, I was told that this was normal for the car, however when I filled the car with diesel on my return the gauge did show as full. On returning the car, it was checked within minutes and the courtesy bus was available to take us to the back to the airport. Having used Goldcar a number of times and being unhappy with their customer service on a few occasions, I would happily use Helle Hollis in future.

These guys were the most friendly car hire company I've come across. They were also effiecent, relaxed and easy to deal with. Would certainly hire from Helle Hollis again.
