The events on the Costa del Sol never ends. From the 8th to the 12th of October, the traditional Nerja town fair is held, where, for 4 days, locals and visitors can enjoy a multitude of activities: concerts, dances and parades, among others.

This festivity arises as a celebration in honour of the Nerja's patron saints, the Virgin of Angustias and Saint Michael the Archangel. For this reason, during these days you can see processions where both figures make a route through some of the streets of the town. If you want to go to the Nerja town fair, the most important day is the 10th of October, where there will be a float parade from 12:00h.

One of the common things about town fairs in Andalusia, is the fairground attractions for kids, live music and flamenco performances. During these days, it is also possible to attend various concerts and shows. Tickets are required for these concerts, to get yours click here .

The Nerja town fair begins on the 7th of October at 20:00h with a concert at the Town Hall followed by the opening speech. It ends on the 12th of October (coinciding with the Spanish National Day and which is national holiday), where you can join the party at the fairground.

As every year, the Nerja Fair will take place at the Nerja fairgrounds and at the Plazas Tutti Frutti and Plaza Caravana (downtown Nerja)
