{"id":925,"date":"2015-04-24T10:17:28","date_gmt":"2015-04-24T10:17:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/car-rental\/?p=925"},"modified":"2024-09-17T11:46:52","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T09:46:52","slug":"visit-orchid-park-botanical-garden-estepona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/blog\/en\/visit-orchid-park-botanical-garden-estepona.htm","title":{"rendered":"Visit the Orchid Park &#8211; Botanical garden in Estepona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An exciting new botanical garden <strong>specialized in orchids<\/strong> has just been inaugurated in <strong>Estepona<\/strong>.\u00a0 The botanical park Orchidarium is located on the outskirts of Estepona town at &#8220;Calle Salvador Dali number 22,&#8221; and is clearly visible with three distinctive glass domes where one of them is 30 meters high.<\/p>\n<p>The Orchid building is divided into two parts of 1000 m2 and 15,000 m2 separated by a bamboo forest.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Orchid-park-Estepona.jpg\"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-927\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Orchid-park-Estepona-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Orchid Park Estepona\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Orchid-park-Estepona-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Orchid-park-Estepona.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Inside the glass building there is a waterfall and on the <strong>12 meter high wall<\/strong> there are growing orchids in different heights. There are over 1600 different orchid varieties and 8000 other plant varieties. For instance you will find the flower &#8220;Ylan Ylan&#8221; (Cananga odarata) used in the perfume industry in famous perfume brands like Dior or Channel.\u00a0 Or you can see vanilla plant which is a climbing growing orchid plant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admission is free<\/strong> and the <strong>opening hours<\/strong> are from Tuesday to Sunday from 11-14h &amp; 18-21h.
