Are you making plans for your Easter holidays<\/strong> ? Needless to say that you have remembered to book your car \u2026?! Or else make your booking now<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n

You shouldn\u00b4t miss out on the Holy Week in M\u00e1laga<\/strong>.  The Holy Week in M\u00e1laga is declared \u201cFiesta of Nacional Interest\u201d and thousands of visitors are coming to the city to follow the processions.<\/p>\n

On Sunday the 24th of March the first processions will  start before noon and continue the whole day. Every day during the Easter week you will be able to see processions starting normally around 16 hours and continue until 5 o\u00b4clock in the morning.<\/p>\n

To find out where the itineraries<\/strong> go for each procession you can for instance download this free app called \u201cicofrade malaga Semana Santa<\/strong>\u201d. It is in Spanish but keeps you updated of the live situation of each procession indicated on a map. For android version<\/a> and iphone version.<\/p>\n

If you are travelling around in Andalucia, then you will also be able to see processions in other cities and most villages. The local tourist office can give you more information.<\/p>\n

Finally before you finish your day out, you must  try the typical Spanish Easter dessert called \u201cTorrija\u201d<\/a><\/strong> which is bread soaked in milk and fried in olive oil and covered with cinnamon, sugar or honey. You will find \u201cTorrijas\u201d in differerent versions in bakeries or cafeterias and they are delicious.<\/p>\n\n\n
