When it comes to things that Cordoba is famous for, its brilliant weather is right up there. Hot temperatures and Andalucia go hand in hand, but Cordoba takes the top prize when it comes to heat. The city boasts the highest summer temperatures in Europe, with average high temperatures reaching about 37 \u00b0C in July and August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most famous festival arrives in the middle of May, Los Patios de C\u00f3rdoba<\/a><\/span> (The Courtyards Festival of C\u00f3rdoba). This is where locals in the historic centre open their private patios to the public, showcasing vibrant floral displays.
