{"id":1367,"date":"2014-12-21T12:24:22","date_gmt":"2014-12-21T12:24:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/car-rental\/?p=1367"},"modified":"2026-02-02T14:29:02","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T13:29:02","slug":"exploring-puerto-banus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/blog\/en\/exploring-puerto-banus.htm","title":{"rendered":"Exploring Puerto Banus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"justifytext\">Although Puerto Banus is a resort that many people do not venture outside of it is a perfect base from which to explore many other parts of the Costa Del Sol and Andalucia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"justifytext\">If you don&#8217;t fancy driving one day but want to get out and about then you could either catch the ferry to Marbella which leaves from the marina at regular intervals throughout the day or take a 6 km seaside stroll into Marbella.<\/p>\n<p class=\"justifytext\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/exploringpuertobanus.gif\"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1362\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hellehollis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/exploringpuertobanus-249x300.gif\" alt=\"Puerto Banus\" width=\"249\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"justifytext\">The best way to walk into Marbella is to walk in an easterly direction from the Marina. As you pass the large statue of Hercules you will see a tree lined promenade.\u00a0 The promenade will take you all the way to Marbella along the sea line.<\/p>\n<p class=\"justifytext\">Although the walk into Marbella from Puerto Banus is a long one there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars that line the promenade and they provide the perfect excuse to stop!<\/p>\n<p class=\"justifytext\">Having a car can make your sightseeing even more enjoyable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"justifytext\">You can also drive into the main town of Marbella within about 10 minutes and if you travel the same distance west from Puerto Banus you will find the typical Spanish Town of San Pedro Alc\u00e1ntara.<\/p>\n<p class=\"justifytext\">Other towns, cities and areas that are within easy driving distance of Puerto Banus include, Gibraltar, Seville, Malaga, Granada, Jerez, the Costa de La Luz and the Sierra Nevada Mountain range which offers skiing on Europe&#8217;s southern most ski resort.<\/p>\n<p class=\"justifytext\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Although Puerto Banus is a resort that many people do not venture outside of it is a perfect base from which to explore many other parts of the Costa Del Sol and Andalucia.
