Avoid toll fines in Spain<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"generated-id-0\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Autopista del Sol highway AP-7<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>AP-7<\/strong> (better known as <em>Autopista de Peaje del Sol<\/em>), has a total length of 105 kilometres that runs through the province of Malaga and reaches Guadiaro (Cadiz). There are <strong>three toll points<\/strong> along the highway: <strong>Calahonda, San Pedro de Alc\u00e1ntara and Manilva<\/strong>, in the municipalities of Marbella and Manilva, respectively. For these days, the fare is special.<\/p>\n<p>As for the second figure, it is precisely the <strong>special fare<\/strong> that applies between June and September (including the 17 days of the Easter period detailed in the previous paragraph). The special fare affects all users, except <strong>regular customers <\/strong>(who benefit from the normal fare all year round).<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"generated-id-2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who are the regular users?<\/h2>\n<p>And who does Autopista del Sol consider to be <strong>regular users<\/strong>? Those who have passed through the toll barrier<strong> at least 60 times<\/strong>, in any of its sections, in the previous four months. In addition, to be a regular user, tolls must always be paid with the same bank card or with the same OBE. The <strong>OBE<\/strong> is a device that, placed on the windscreen of the vehicle (at the height of the rear-view mirror), is used to automatically collect the toll. The user must have a bank account linked to this device.<\/p>\n<p>For the convenience of our regular or occasional users, the Autopista de Peaje del Sol <strong>accepts different forms of payment<\/strong>, as mentioned above: bank card, OBE and, of course, cash.<\/p>\n<p>In this sense, planning your holidays involves planning your spending. The AP-7 is an excellent way to visit places that are geographically distant, making our customers&#8217; time (which, during the holiday period, is usually short) more profitable. The cost of the toll is related to the date of the visit. We recommend that you bear this in mind and take advantage of the benefits of travelling comfortably on the Autopista de Peaje del Sol. The Costa del Sol.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"generated-id-3\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">AP-46 Guadalmedina Highway<\/h2>\n<p>In the province of Malaga we also have another toll highway, less busy than the one on the Costa del Sol, which is the <strong>AP46, the Guadalmedina Motorway<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThis motorway, also known as <em>Las Pedrizas<\/em>, runs for more than 28 kilometres and crosses the municipalities of Antequera, Casabermeja, Almog\u00eda and M\u00e1laga.<br \/>\nIt is a very useful road for those heading to the Costa del Sol from e.g. Seville or Cordoba, because the journey is reduced by about eight kilometres, as well as for those who want to reach the city centre, the port of Malaga or the airport. It also offers discounts for return journeys, discounts for continuity with Autopista del Sol, as well as for users over 65 years of age and drivers with reduced mobility.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Definition of seasons:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Low Season<\/strong>: Low season is considered to be all days that are not included in the high season. For light vehicles, the rates apply between 6:00 and 24:00 hours, while for heavy vehicles (categories 1 and 2), the applicable timetable is from 8:00 to 22:00 hours.<br \/>\n<strong>High Season<\/strong>: Includes the months of May to October, all Saturdays and Sundays of the year, and the 17 days from Friday of Dolores to the Sunday after Easter Sunday.
