Strolling along this famous street during the festive season has become a true tradition for both locals and visitors, thanks to its dazzling display of light, color, and music.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past three years, the decoration theme has been inspired by the <em><strong>Celestial Angels<\/strong><\/em>, a stunning light composition accompanied by a musical show that filled the historic center with magic.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>2025<\/strong>, however, the city will unveil a brand-new theme: the decoration will be transformed into \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.surinenglish.com\/malaga\/malaga-city\/new-christmas-light-sound-show-calle-larios-20251107121600-nt.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>Nativity of Light<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u201d, featuring stars and Nativity scenes that will replace the traditional angels.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the <strong>Christmas lights on Calle Larios in 2025<\/strong> will be switched on <strong>Friday, November 28<\/strong>, and visitors will be able to enjoy the display until January 6. Every December, a<strong> video mapping<\/strong> show is projected onto the south tower, where light and animated visuals tell magical stories that delight visitors of all ages.<\/p>\n<p>In previous editions, we enjoyed displays such as \u201c<em>Manto de Estrellas<\/em>\u201d or \u201c<em>\u00c1ngel de Luz<\/em>\u201d, enchanting visual tales shown in three daily performances throughout the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s show is titled <strong>\u201c<em>El pescador de sue\u00f1os<\/em>\u201d (The Dream Fisherman)<\/strong>, a Christmas story inspired by the <strong>cenacheros<\/strong>, one of M\u00e1laga\u2019s most traditional trades. The projection features an introduction, the main story, and a <strong>3D finale<\/strong> with stained-glass effects and other stunning visual elements.<\/p>\n<p>The show will take place <strong>every day<\/strong>, except on <strong>December 24 and 31<\/strong>, with performances at <strong>7:00 pm, 8:30 pm, and 10:00 pm<\/strong>, from <strong>Saturday, November 29<\/strong>, until <strong>January 4, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} --><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"generated-id-3\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Botanical Garden Lights<\/h4>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Every Christmas,The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/laconcepcion.malaga.eu\/en\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Concepci\u00f3n Botanical Garden<\/a><\/strong> transforms into a magical world during the Christmas season. Last year, visitors enjoyed <em>\u201cIlusi\u00f3n. Christmas has many faces but only one heart<\/em>\u201d, a 90-minute <strong>illuminated walk<\/strong> featuring themed areas such as The Grinch\u2019s Lair, Santa\u2019s Mansion, and The Chimney Forest.<\/p>\n<p>For the <strong>2025<\/strong> edition, the theme will be inspired by Alice in Wonderland and will be titled \u201c<em><strong>Alice\u2019s Magical Christmas<\/strong><\/em>\u201d. The show will take place from <strong>November 28 to January 6<\/strong>, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaentradas.com\/?entradas=alice-christmas-la-navidad-magica&amp;utm_source=bannerESP&amp;utm_medium=internal&amp;utm_campaign=3459&amp;eid=3459\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ticket prices<\/strong> <\/a>ranging from \u20ac6.60 to \u20ac15.50.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"generated-id-4\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Christmas Lights in Benalm\u00e1dena<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re visiting the Costa del Sol, make sure to visit <strong>Benalm\u00e1dena<\/strong>. Each Christmas, this charming town &#8211; which includes<em> Benalm\u00e1dena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel, and Benalm\u00e1dena Costa<\/em> &#8211; is lit up with over <strong>18 kilometres of festive lighting<\/strong> made up of millions of LED bulbs. This combination of lights, sea views and entertainment makes Benalm\u00e1dena one of the most magical places to experience Christmas on the Costa del Sol.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"generated-id-6\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Christmas Lights in Fuengirola<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Fuengirola<\/strong> will once again welcome the festive season on <strong>28 November 2025<\/strong>, when <strong>Plaza de Espa\u00f1a<\/strong> lights up with a brand-new artistic display that transforms the heart of the city. Nearby, Plaza Pedro Cuevas turns into a forest of pink cherry-blossom lights that fill the night sky with colour and magic.<\/p>\n<p>Along the seafront promenade and the city\u2019s main avenues, festive decorations create a sparkling route filled with light, music, and holiday spirit beside the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"generated-id-8\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Christmas Lights in Mijas<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Mijas<\/strong> &#8211; made up of <em>Mijas Pueblo, La Cala de Mijas, and Las Lagunas<\/em> &#8211; boasts <strong>one of the most extensive Christmas light displays<\/strong> on the Costa del Sol. Like other nearby towns, the official switch-on usually takes place in late November. In the latest edition, the town installed more than four million lights across some thirty streets and squares, turning Mijas into a must-visit destination to enjoy the festive atmosphere between the mountains and the sea.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"generated-id-9\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mijas Pueblo and La Cala de Mijas<\/h4>\n<p>In <strong>Mijas Pueblo<\/strong>, the lighting enhances the charm of its whitewashed streets and historic squares. Spots such as <strong>Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n, Avenida de M\u00e9jico<\/strong>, and<strong> Plaza Virgen de la Pe\u00f1a<\/strong> glow beautifully against the mountain backdrop.
