The main tourist capital of the Costa Tropical is Almunecar. Many people haven’t even heard of the Costa Tropical and Almunecar but it can be found in the Province of Granada which is to the east of the Costa Del Sol and forms the eastern edge of Andalucia.<\/p>\n

The mountain ranges of the Sierra Nevada tower above Almunecar and in this part of Spain you will find small villages clinging to the hillsides that are full of Olive and Almond trees.<\/p>\n

If you drive down to the sea there are 19km of coastline which is made up of a mixture of wide, sandy beaches and small coves. If you are a water sports fan you will be able to find most forms of water sport on offer along this coast.
