Byen Motril ligger p\u00e5 Costa Tropical, \u00a0100 kilometer \u00f8st for Malaga, og omkring 65 kilometer syd for Granada.<\/p>\n

Hvis du har planer om at tage p\u00e5 ferie\u00a0i Motril eller overvejer det som et stoppested er det klogest at flyve til Granada eller Malaga. Desv\u00e6rre skal du flyve fra London af,\u00a0 hvis du vil flyve til Granada.\u00a0Der er mange direkte fly afgange fra K\u00f8benhavn, Billund eller Aalborg til Malaga.<\/p>\n

Bagved Motril finder du Sierra Nevada bjergene, hvor du kan tage op og st\u00e5 p\u00e5 ski i vinters\u00e6sonen.<\/p>\n

Motril er en ret stor by med omkring 50.000\u00a0indbyggere og byen har et stort havne omr\u00e5de hvor der g\u00e5r en f\u00e6rge til Morocco. Du finder ogs\u00e5 b\u00e5de en fiskerihavn og lystb\u00e5dehavn.<\/p>\n

I juni 2005 blev der \u00e5bnet en 80 kvadratmeter kaj. Fase to af kaj udvidelsen skulle v\u00e6re f\u00e6rdig omkring midten af 2006, og skulle gerne bringe\u00a0flere transportskibe gennem havnen.<\/p>\n

Hovedattraktionen\u00a0i\u00a0Motril er byens r\u00e5dhus, en imponerende barok stils bygning som blev bygget\u00a0i 1631. Du kan ogs\u00e5 bes\u00f8ge Casa de Las Palmas som er en velbevaret sukkerr\u00f8rs m\u00f8lle fra 16 hundrede tallet.<\/p>\n

Motril har ogs\u00e5 sin egen golfbane, Club de Golf Los Moriscos som har en god ni hullers bane\u00a0i smukke omgivelser.<\/p>\n
