The main Village or resort in the Sierra Nevada is Pradollano. You can drive to Pradollano from Granada Airport in about 45 minutes and from Malaga Airport in just under two hours.

Within Pradollano you will find some lively bars, cafes and restaurants and the main action takes place around the busy main square (Plaza) in the center of town.

Once you get up into the Sierra Nevada you will find over 60 kms of ski slopes with runs for beginners and experienced skiers alike. The largest slope, El Rio is 3kms long and more or less a vertical drop.

As you would expect from a busy ski resort there are a number of different Ski Schools and hire shops where you can hire equipment by the day or week.
