The main golf course for Riviera Del Sol is Miraflores Golf course. This beautiful 18-hole par 70 course features a number of elevated greens as it meanders through the hills above Mijas. Walking the Miraflores golf course can be tough, especially in the hot summer sun so it is recommended that you book a buggy if you are playing this course between June and September.

Take more time to explore the Riviera Del Sol and the area around it with a rental car.

To the east of Riviera del Sol you will find the busy tourist resort of Fuengirola, which has a large indoor shopping and entertainment complex called the Miramar Center. If it does happen to rain during your stay in Riviera then head for the Miramar as there is plenty to do and see including a multi screen cinema complex that has daily films in English.

Fuengirola also has its own Zoo and a water park, which will definitely wear the kids out. The Zoo and water park are close to each other and over the summer months the Zoo is open until midnight each night.

To the west of Riviera Del Sol are the towns and resorts of Calahonda, Marbella and Puerto Banus. Marbella has a great old Town and Puerto Banus has some great shops and a very busy nightlife.

Driving from Riviera to Marbella should take no longer than 15 minutes and Puerto Banus will take you 10 minutes more.
