Palma de Mallorca Airport has one of the highest volumes of passenger traffic in Spain, especially on the international side. Facilities consist within several interconnected buildings which are integrated into the main terminal which is spread over two floors and has four boarding modules labelled A to D.

At the end of 2004 Palma Airport handled a total of 20,416,321 passengers.

The covered car park next to Palma de Mallorca Airport is for short and long term parking. Six storeys high, it has a capacity for 5,700 vehicles. There are car hire desks on the ground floor as well as in the terminal Arrivals Area where Helle Hollis can arrange to deliver your car. Long term parking is on the top floor.

Taxis leave from outside Door D in Arrivals. The bus stops are in front of the multi storey car park opposite the taxi rank and outside the check in floor opposite the airport access road.

Palma de Mallorca Airport has excellent amenities with a bank, ATMS, post office and telephones. The bars and restaurants include ones that operate over a 24 hour period.

As you would expect from an airport of this size, shopping facilities are very good with duty free and the usual range of outlets.
