Getting to Fuengirola is easy. Finding out about public transport services such as trains and busses may become confusing and frustrating and end up becoming quite time consuming. Using a hire car when you land at the airport, go through customs and take your luggage straight out to your hire, is much easier.

From Helle Hollis Head Office;  follow the signs for Cadiz/Algeciras. This will lead you onto the large A7 three lane highway. You need to take the exit off the dual carriageway just after the BMW garage to get onto this road. Helle Hollis have a range of rental cars available.

Once on the A7 you simply drive along for around 10 minutes before heading down a long hill. At the bottom of the hill the road forks, the two left hand lanes head up onto the toll road and the two right hand lanes head done onto the N340 Costa which will bring you straight past the center of Fuengirola.

You can also transfer from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola by train, bus or of course taxi. A taxi journey form Malaga Airport to Fuengirola will cost somewhere in the region of 30 euros but remember, the taxis can only take up to a maximum of four people including children.
